Hello, I was wondering what you all thought the best communication headsets are. I’ve been using z-tactical comtac II’s for the last little while with my baofeng radio. The comtacs haven’t been the worst, but the z-tac ptt’s are complete shit. I’ve tried a few different styles from them and they’ve never lasted more than a couple games, often not even one.

So now I’m looking into three choices. First is getting a compatible ptt for the z-tacs that actually work (different brand?).

Second is the earmour headsets. They seem better than z-tacs, but my buddy told me they had trouble getting theirs working because of an issue with the actual headset.

Third is getting a code-red speaker mic and hooking up an IMPACT headset to it through an aux cord. I’ve heard that they both work great but not so well together.

Any alternate suggestions are also appreciated.

When we first sat down to review the HyperX Cloud Revolver S, we were a tad conflicted. You really do have to like the 'gamer aesthetic' however, as its plastic build and orange highlights personify the style.
